Eco Friendly Furniture Costa Rica

bamboo tablesGuadua Bamboo Costa Rica is the pioneer for introducing new programs that provide exclusive and eco-friendly furniture from Costa Rica. We have extensive experience in designing and manufacturing furniture for commercial and residential use by incorporating Costa Rican artisans and craftsman. We clearly recognized that to keep furniture affordable, it must be built locally and we take pride that our furniture is 100% made in Costa Rica using locally grown resources such as melina, teak, pochote, laurel, guanacaste, palmilera, cedro, pino, cypress, cocobolo, and bamboo. We have committed ourselves in preserving the rich heritage of Costa Rica and assuring that our furniture programs are eco-friendly in nature.

By using local furniture manufactories to produce our eco friendly furniture designs we encourage the local bamboo furniture artisan and economy. Over the years we have seen the huge potential Costa Rican cabinet makers have to offer but are often neglected by the Asian furniture import businesses in this country. Instead of promoting sole Asian designs in Central America we chose to incorporate many foreign features to the traditional Latin American style, which in return produces a new and unique style without losing the local look and feel. We often start out designing Costa Rican furniture using the local traditions and add a flavor of European and Oriental style to it.

Guadua Bamboo Costa Rica goes far beyond manufacturing bamboo or rustic furniture, and therefore we believe we are changing the central American furniture market . We carefully design and construct each piece of furniture selecting only the finest locally grown resources available.

This “hands on” approach allows us to assure that each piece of Costa Rican furniture we produce is well made and can be guaranteed for decades. We use and incorporate select oven dried woods, immunized bamboo, stone, glass, wrought iron and many local resources to construct our current furniture lines.

We at Guadua Bamboo Costa Rica are committed to providing unique and eco friendly furniture throughout Costa Rica. Many of our foreign customers in Guanacaste and throughout the country are amazed that they too can receive high quality Costa Rica furniture and that we can deliver it directly to their doorstep. We simply wanted to provide Cost Rica made furniture for everyone throughout the entire country and we committed ourselves full heartedly to this program.

We offer complimentary interior design services for all our clients. If you need help furnishing a house, condo or hotel in Costa Rica we can provide you with eco friendly furniture packages and window treatments without the need to pay an interior designer regardless of the size of your project! Staff designer Thomas Dill is always available at no charge for consultation and he will help you every step of the way in selecting Costa Rica furniture, window treatments, decor accessories, and bedding. Thomas has years of experience working within any budget and his “one stop shop” approach is guaranteed to save you a lot of time and money on any size project.

Guadua Bamboo Costa Rica is the best kept secret for eco friendly furniture in Costa Rica and provides quality furnishings at affordable prices. We offer furniture designs inspired by: Spanish Colonial, Asian, West Indies, Moroccan, Coastal Retreat and Island Retreat influences. We often refer to this mixture as the new "Jungle Lodge look". We design bamboo furniture, and wood furniture in the form of rustic furniture or contemporary furniture or a combination of all the latter. We produce living room furniture, outdoor and patio furniture, bedroom furniture, and dining room furniture, that is all 100% made in Costa Rica and designed to last decades in the tropics.
